Vent pipe running through the garage and up into the attic. Interior pipes can condensate and cause mold. For interior piping they should be insulated to prevent contamination and mold.

Accidents happen, drill bit went through a water line hidden under the basement slab.

Owner called and said there fan would run and shut off. Installer out of business, owners should hire companies that have been in business at least 10 yrs. Outlet was not properly installed causing water to enter switch and rust out components.  Could have started a fire.

Fan vibrating siding on a home. Fan blades full of debris and causing fan to spin out of balance and shake the vinyl siding.

Owner had chicken wire on his ceiling in the basement to keep the bats out. We cut out old system a contractor installed improperly and installed a better system on the front corner of the home. Once old system off could seal holes and keep bats out.

Owner called and said there radon fan quit running and installer was out of business. We traced wiring they installed and found they used nails to anchor the wire and it was shorting out in the crawlspace. Could have caused a house fire.

Owner called and stated fan is running but radon levels are no longer below the action level. Removing the fan and checking the fan blades. Blades are covered with dirt and a solid mass from 16 years of continuous running spinning but not drawing air.

Contractor used a thin wall pipe and it snapped in half during a cold snap.

Wrong fan was removed and proper fan installed . New wiring to the switch and no more breaker kicking off in the electric panel.

Fan used was not designed for exterior installation.  Electric box on the fan was filling with water and water ran down to the switch and shorted out the house breaker.
